Christian, Atto Shine In DFC7 Fight Night
Imo State born Emmanuel ‘Super Man’ Christian beat Iniso Akpan in the main card and Super Welter Weight men's bout of the Dynamite Fighting Championship, fight night DFC7 tagged "Return of The Heroes" which took place at Ediz Wine Bar in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
Speaking inside the Octagon after the exciting fight, Africa Top Team Nigeria’s Christian who won through technical knockout said he is thankful to his coach, DFC Africa for the platform and aims to achieve more.
In another entertaining bout, Chinonso Atto in her third professional fight proved just too strong for Jane ‘The Slayer’ Odigwe of the International Heroes’ Institute of Mixed Martial Arts as she lost through unanimous decision in their Welter Weight bout.
The third fight of the night between Bayelsa State born Prince Epere and Elliot Awaji saw Epere emerge victorious after three hard-hitting rounds, he remains unbeaten after six fights, with seven wins and one draw.
Founder of DFC Africa and President of the Nigeria Mixed Martial Arts Federation, NMMAF Ambassador Henry George speaking after the event thanked the media and partners for their support and confirmed there will be more Championships next year in order to give homegrown fighters the oopportunity to showcase their talent.
The Dynamite Fighting Championship will hold its first fight night for the year 2022, DFC8 in March on a yet to be decided venue.
