Chukwueze agrees 4-year deal with Villarreal

With the reports coming from Spain, La Liga side Villarreal have succeeded in waving off external interest for Nigeria's Super Eagles winger Samuel Chukwueze as the player agreed to new four-year deal.

BSN reports that the former Nigeria Junior International has become an important player for the Yellow Submarine since he broke into the first team last season,

His performance for both country and club has attracted interest from European big clubs, which prompted Villarreal into starting new deal discussions with his representatives.

After so much discussions, the two parties agreed and Chukwueze will sign a new 4 year deal with the club inserting a €100 million as against the previous €25 million in the previous deal.

Since joining the first team, Chukwueze has notched 7 goals in 41 appearances for the Spanish side .

Chukwueze is expected to be in action on Friday when Villareal face Eibar.
