BSNSports.com.ng can reveal that the Nigeria duo of Samuel Chukwueze and Tom Dele-Bashiru could not make it to the top 20 for 2019 European Golden boy award has been announced by the organiser of the events.

BSN reports in September that over 50 top U21 players were nominated for the award which includes Nigeria's duo but were left out of the top 20 nominees.

The list was trimmed down to 20 players on Tuesday afternoon and conspicuously missing is Villarreal speedy star Samuel Chukwueze.

Chukwueze who has an outstanding outing against Selecao of Brazil on Sunday in an international friendly in Singapore has a decent performance in 2019 for both club and country.

Bashiru on his own part is yet to make a competitive debut for new premier league club Watford FC after he switched to the Vicarage road from Manchester city.
