Olayinka was introduced after 73 minutes for Milan Skoda before the Nigerian grabbed his side’s third two minutes later much to the admiration of his manager. ⚽PAUL ONUACHU: Nigerian forward, Paul Onuachu continued his impressive form in front of goal, scoring his 10th goal of the season for Midtjylland in their 2-1 loss away to København on Sunday. ⚽VICTOR OSIMHEN: Super Eagles forward Victor Osimhen continued his impressive form in front of goal in the Belgian League, coming off the bench to score his sixth goal of the campaign in Sporting Charleroi’s comfortable 4-2 win away at KSC Lokeren. ⚽WILFRED NDIDI, KELECHI IHEANACHO, LEON BALOGUN: Wilfred Ndidi made his 13th EPL appearance for ten-man Leicester City who recorded a 1-1 draw away to Brighton Hove Albion coming off the substitute’s bench at the Amex Stadium. It was the first time in three EPL seasons that the 21-year-old, Ndidi was dropped from the Foxes’ starting line-up. Brighton had Leon Balogun on the substitute’s bench for the entire duration of the game. Ndidi came on for Vicente Iborra in the 32nd minute after James Maddison was sent off for a second bookable offence. His compatriot, Kelechi Iheanacho replaced Shinji Okazaki in the 70th minute for his fifth substitute appearance this season in the 12 games he has featured in, as he missed glaring chance after he was teed up by Vardy in the 89th minute. ⚽ISAAC SUCCESS: At Vicarage Road, Isaac Success came on for Gerard Deulofeu in the 57th minute for Watford who lost 3-0 at home to ten-man Liverpool. The game was Success’ ninth substitute appearance of this season for Watford. The Super Eagles forward has featured in all 13 EPL games for Watford this season. ⚽ALEX IWOBI: Alex Iwobi made his 10th English Premier League start for Arsenal who moved within one point of the top four spot with their 2-1 away win over Bournemouth at the Vitality Stadium. Iwobi played for 82 minutes in his 13th EPL appearance of the season before he was replaced by Aaron Ramsey. ⚽TROOST EKONG: Super Eagles defender, William Troost Ekong helped his Italian club, Udinese end their seven-game winless streak in the Serie A with 1-0 win over AS Roma at the Dacia Arena. The game was Ekong’s 13th Serie A start of the season for Udinese. ⚽OGHENEKARO ETEBO: In the English Championship, Oghenekaro Etebo was left out of Stoke City’s matchday squad that played out a 2-2 draw against Queens Park Rangers that paraded Eberechi Eze for 89 minutes. Etebo has made 13 appearances for the Potters so far this season. ⚽SEMI AJAYI: Nigeria international Semi Ajayi played all 90 minutes for Rotherham United who were held to a 2-2 draw at home by Sheffield United. The game was Ajayi’s 18th start of the campaign. ⚽MOSES SIMON: In Spain, Moses Simon was not included in Levante’s matchday squad that drew 2-2 away with SD Huesca. ⚽RAMON AZEEZ: Ramon Azeez played all 90 minutes for Lugo who defeated Cordoba 2-1 om a Segunda division clash.
