Nigeria's Super Eagles winger at the just concluded 2019 African Cup of Nations, Samuel Chukwueze has resumed training with his Spanish club Villarreal, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

BSN Sports can report that the former Junior International was instrumental in Super Eagles 2-1 victory over Bafana Bafana of South Africa in the quarter final and was adjudged Man of Match in the encounter.

The club confirmed his resumption on Monday morning when he joined the other member of the team in training after the African Nations Cup break.

Chukwueze was instrumental to the Spanish side avoiding the relegation last season.

He scored 5 goals in 26 matches and was picked as one of most outstanding young talents in the league.
