Chukwueze’s Europa League Tie Off Due To Opponents’ Coronavirus Crisis

Villarreal of Spain winger, Samuel Chukwueze will not have the pleasure of being in action with his Spanish LaLIga Thursday night in the UEFA Europa League, as his team’s opponents, Qarabag FK have been stopped from honoring the game due to an outbreak of coronavirus in their camp. BSNSports.com.ng reports that the development comes just few hours to kick off at Estadio de la Cerámica in Spain, after the Azerbaijani champions confirmed that they do not have the minimum number of players needed for them to be able to go ahead with the game. That unsavoury development happened after several Qarabag players could not receive medical clearances to feature in the game, due to their positive COVID-19 teats and Europe’s football governing body, UEFA decided to shift the match to a later date after contacting both clubs.
