Chukwueze Undergoes Successful Surgery By Sampson Adedeji Injured Nigeria's Super Eagles and Villareal of Spain winger, Samuel Chukwueze has underwent a successful surgery, BSNSports.com.ng reports. The winger was injured his anterior rectus in the Europa League semi-final second leg against Arsenal FC at the Emirates Stadium on 6 May. The Nigerian international accelerated his recovery process as much as possible in order to be able to be in good condition to be available for the final of Europa league final held in Gdansk. A couple of days before the match against Manchester United, Chukwueze relapsed again and the club's medical services considered that the best solution, for this, would be surgical intervention. The surgery was performed by Doctor Ramón Cugat at the Quirónsalud Hospital in Barcelona.
