Claude Le Roy to retire in 2022 By Sampson Adedeji Head coach of Hawks of Togo Claude Le Roy has confirmed that he will retire from coaching in 2022. The France-born gaffer has being one of the most traveled foreign coach in Africa. He first came to Africa in 1985 handling indomitable Lion of Cameroon before joining Teranga Lion of Senegal in 1989 to 1992. Leroy has been to nine Africa cup of Nations finals, leading countries like Cameroon, Senegal, DR Congo, Ghana etc. The light skinned coach said he will like to lead an African team to AFCON 2021 slated for Cameroon. The 71 year old started his coaching career in 1980 handling Amiens and has went ahead to handle 17 various teams from National teams to club side.
