Top Belgian side Club Brugge are keen to sign Taiwo Awoniyi from Premier League side Liverpool, but the forward himself would want to move to either Spain or Germany.

Media reports out of Belgium said Club Brugge want to snap Awoniyi after his heroics at modest club Royal excel Mouscron as a direct replacement for the Brazilian striker Wesley Moraes, who is most likely to move this summer.

According to Het Nieuwsblad, Awoniyi now wants to try his luck in Spain or Germany.

He will only consider a return to Belgium if he does not get what he wants.

The Nigeria U23 star has previously played on loan in Germany as well as Belgium, where for the second straight season he impressed for Mouscron.
