Nigeria Football will move to a greater height in 2020 - Club Owners
The Football club Owners Association of Nigeria (Club Owners) have predicted a brighter future for Nigeria Football in the year 2020.
In a new year goodwill message to Football stakeholders in Nigeria, the Association said there would be a systematic turn-around for the development of Nigerian Leagues and the entire strata of Football in Nigeria in 2020.
Club Owners enjoined stakeholders to rally round the leadership of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) and the League Management Company (LMC) as well as other leagues so that the report of the just concluded Reform committee is implemented to give Nigeria Football a new face.
The Association commended President Muhammadu Buhari for his support to Football and other sports in the country and called for his quick assent to the recently passed NFF bill presently on his table.
Club Owners in a statement jointly signed by its chairman Barr. Isaac Danladi and the Executive Secretary Alloy Chukwuemeka said the Association is optimistic that with the signing of the NFF bill into law and the implementation of the reform committee reports, Nigeria Football will have a new direction for progress.
It called on the stakeholders to be patient and be United in support of the Football system to attain the anticipated greater height even as it wished the Football family a Happy and prosperous new year 2020.
