By Sampson Adedeji

As the contract talks of Nigeria's Super Eagles head coach Gernot Rohr continue to attract attention and discussions, former head coach of Kwara United Samson David Unuanel has lend his voice to the discussion.

The contract of the Franco-german gaffer will end in June this year, and the debates has been ongoing among football stakeholders in the country whether to give an extension or not, BSN Reports.

Unuanel in his submission believed Rohr has tried his best in discovering new talents for the country and should be allow to continue to build the team.

He said it's the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) that brought him and they should be allow to determine what to do with his contract.

"As far as am concern, Rohr has not done badly, he has achieved a lots of things, he pull together all our hiding talents abroad and is working on and we are now building a team.

But I will prefer if they still found him worthy to be given another contract but I cannot force NFF from extending his contract because they are the one that brought him in the first place.

Let us continue to give a chance, changing of coaches will turn to change of pattern and it will bring alot of problems here and there.

He knows these players, he has worked with them for the past 2 to 3 years, let us give him the opportunity to build a team for us, he said.

Few weeks back, Rohr confirmed to have received a new contract details from the federation and his representatives will study it before deciding next line of action.
