Coaches Elections: Ikpo Moses Presents Manifesto To President In Abuja By Niyi Busari Leader of Alimosho Football Coaches Council, Ikpo Moses and a Member Central Working Committee has promised to reposition the Lagos State Coaches Association if he is voted to lead the Union. Moses made this in Abuja on Tuesday after he presented his election manifesto to the President Nigeria Football Coaches Association, Ladan Bosso at the Package B, MKO Abiola Stadium, Abuja. Though confident to have what it takes to reposition the Association, he however stated that the decision to be elected remains with the electorates. He said, "Election is the choice of the people, the only confidence I have is that if been elected by the grace of God, I surely put all my programs as it stated in my agenda into proper establishment, but when it comes to election is what the people want, so I wouldn't tell you that I'm 100 percent sure but the assurance I can give is that definitely there will be a great change in the Lagos state coaches association if given the opportunity to lead as chief servant." He added, "As enumerated the first plan we have is to bring back the respect of coaching, by the time we rearrange Lagos state football coaching association, the respect will be back. Coaches are the majority shareholders in the conglomerate of football. He promised to protect the interest of coaches in Lagos by making sure that their welfare package is top notch. "You cannot talk about football without talking coaching and football coaching in Lagos has to be repositioned properly to the direction. The reason coaching is suffering is because of improper welfare, improper planning and unprotected association. He said the Nigeria Football Coaches Association President, Ladan Bosso sued for peaceful election and gave his words of advice. "The President ( Ladan Bosso) is a wonderful person and I'm privileged to have met him today and he gave a fatherly advise, of course is a father to us coaches in Nigeria as far as coaching is concerned, to the face of Nigeria and the world is the number one in the coaches association and he gave his advise in terms of peaceful election and a renowned strategies that will not bring coaches association to a disrepute. He continued, "He also advice on anything that will cause distrust, injustice to put away for us to believe in electoral process as organised by electoral committee."
