COAS Shooters are back to winning ways after they defeated Sokoto Rima at the Prudent Energy Handball League phase two holding at the Rowe Park Sports Center, Yaba, Lagos.

The Army boys had to really dig deep from their arsenal as they overcame Sokoto Rima 35-32 in what was an edgy match for both side.

In other games in the male category, Plateau Vipers defeated Borno Spiders 29-26 while De Defenders were in comfort as they defeated 44-22.

Kada Stars defeated Owena Kings 31-24 while Lagos Seasiders distorted Niger United push for the title as they slimly defeated the defending champion 30-29.

Kano Pillars are still leading the pack as they defeated Safety Shooters 28-25.

In the female category, Kada Queens defeated Desert Queens 22-18 while Edo Dynamos comfortably defeated 29-19.

Defender Babes defeated Abia Valliants 32-23 while Ghana Police defeated Imo Grasshoppers 31-21

Meanwhile, Michael Agbaji Solomon of Kano Pillars and Dangana Joy of Defender Babes were voted as the MVP for the day.
