  Communique Issued At The Joint Meeting Between PFAN And Club Owners By Editor   The leadership of Professional Footballers Association of Nigeria (PFAN) and Footballer Club Owners Association of Nigeria on Friday met and deliberate on critical issues aimed at moving Nigeria football to the promise land. The communique released at the end of the joint meeting reads in full. 1- The meeting commended the prevailing unity and Peaceful coexistence within the players Union as Critical Football stakeholders. 2- The meeting agreed on establishing a strong strategic partnership between the two Associations . 3- The two Associations  agreed to work together to boost the business of professional Football clubs in Nigeria to an enviable standard. 4- The two Association agreed on a workable synergy to prioritize the welfare of players via a general insurance policy, pension administration plans for players for future benefits after active Football. 5- The meeting resolved to implore the Nigeria Football Federation NFF to  activate a Home based Super Eagles team with a 30% inclusion of domestic league players in the main team of the Super Eagles of Nigeria. 6- The Meeting observed the return in the increase of cases of the Covid-19 pandemic in Nigeria and called on Football stakeholders to strictly follow the health protocols outlined by the NCDC at both trainings and league matches.
