Confederation of African Cycling Congratulates CFN On Their Feat In South Africa

The President, Track Commission of Confederation of African Cycling, Mr. William Newman has congratulated the Cycling Federation of Nigeria for coming 3rd on the medal table in the just concluded African Track Championship in south Africa.

Nigeria participated in five different Cycling games namely; Individual time trial, Point race, Scratch race, Sprint and Omnium and came third on the medals table.

Seven countries; the hosts, South Africa, Egypt, Morocco, Algeria, Seychelles, Zimbabwe, and Nigeria participated in the African cycling competition.

In a statement made available to www.bsnsports.com.ng through the President Cycling Federation of Nigeria, Mr. Giandomenico Massari, the Track Commission Mr William Newman congratulated Nigeria for her feat in a well-contested 10-day competition, he said: "Mr Giandomenico.
Congratulations on your riders' very impressive performance.
Nigeria third on the Medals table!
Out of 7 nations!
YExcellent!!!!"

Nigeria won seven medals; 5 silver and two bronze medals.
The two female cyclists are expected back to the country on Monday.
