Confederation of African Volleyball ZONE 3 SUSPENDS PRESIDENT By Kehinde Lamidi The Extra Ordinary General Assembly of Zone 3 of the Confederation of Africa Volleyball held at the National Stadium, Surelere,Lagos,Nigeria has ended with resolutions chiefly was the suspension of its President, Mr Kone Sanga. His suspension was attributed to alleged nefarious activities which the zone believed to be initial to the development of volleyball in the zone. Mr Sanga was alleged to have written a letter of protest to the world governing body,FIVB,an action which created crises in the zone,it thereby dissociates itself from the letter. The zone however affirmed her supports for the contributions of the international Volleyball federation under the leadership of Dr Ary Graca. CAVB Zone 3 thereby suspended Kone Sanga till the end of his tenure and Unanimously mandated the Vice President,Paul Atchoe from Ghana to act as president of the zone. The meeting was attended by the presidents from Benin Republic, Nigeria,Togo,Burkina Faso,Ghana and Niger(Proxy)
