Confusion
NFF Leadership Crisis: Confusion Rocks Nigeria's Football By Niyi Busari Supreme Court on Friday 27th April in its ruling on the NFF leadership tussle order that the case should be returned back to the High Court in Jos. The Supreme then affirm that it is only the High Court in Jos that can rule on the substantive case. Recalled that the case had already been taken to the High Court which declares Null and Void the September 2014 election that brought Amaju Pinnick board. Lawyers from both sides has interpreted the Supreme Court Judgement in different version First to react is NFF lawyer Festus Keyamo, who called for peace and said that what the Supreme Court said is that they should take the case back to Jos High Court. "Nobody should cause unnecessary panic in Nigeria’s football. That’s my case. Supreme Court DID NOT NULLIFY AMAJU ‘s Election. The Supreme Court did NOT remove Amaju from office. The Supreme Court only referred the case back to the Federal High Court to be tried properly to know which of the elections held in 2014 was right. Amaju was NOT a party to the case at the Supreme Court so the court could not have removed a party from office without joining the party and hearing from the party." Barrister Festus Keyamo reacts via his Twitter handle. On the other hand, Chris Giwa's lawyer said that what the Supreme Court order is that the order given by the Jos High Court which declares that declares the Warri election that brought in Amaju Pinnick-led board is null and void and that the election known before the High Court is the Chida Abuja election that bought in Chris Giwa.
