Contractual Target For Rohr Not To Put Him Under Pressure

The debates over new contractual term set for Nigeria's Super Eagles head coach, Gernot Rohr continue but the president of the Nigeria Football Federation Amaju Melvin Pinnick has clarified the terms.

The key terms in the Rohr Contract stated that he must deliver 2021 African Cup Of Nations trophy and also perform well at the 2022 Qatar World cup.

Pinnick on a Zoom media call on Monday said that the target are not set in stone and they will assess him after each competition before taking any decision.

"It's at the discretion of the NFF. If we see improvement, even if he doesn't win the Nations Cup, we will decide how we move on from there," he said.

Rohr who joined Nigeria in 2016 has led the country to two major tournaments, Russia 2018 World Cup and 2019 African Cup Of Nations in Egypt.
