Coronavirus: Flamingos To Proceed On Two Weeks Break

After a mouth watering 11-2 aggregate win over Guinea, the Nigeria Football Federation ( NFF) has decamped the victorious Flamingos.

The Nigeria U17 women side recorded an emphatic victory over Guinea in Conakry and also at Agege Stadium Lagos and qualified for the last round of the qualifier, BSN Reports.

Flamingos Acting Head Coach, Olowookere Bankole confirmed that the players and officials have since embarked on a break, adding that the NFF will inform them when to return to camp as that will depend on whether the novel Coronavirus pandemic will allow sporting activities to continue.

Nigeria will face Ghana who thrashed Liberia 10-0 aggregate on 1st -3rd of May with first leg in Accra and return leg in Nigeria.
