CotonSport, JS Kayblie, Raja Casablanca, Pyramids Make Up CAF Confederation Cup Semi-Final Parings By Uche Dozie After Sunday's return leg, Pyramids of Egypt, JS Kayblie of Algeria, Raja Casablanca of Morocco and CotonSport of Cameroon all made it through to the semi-final of the CAF Confederation Cup, BSNSports.com.ng reports. Pyramids FC who had almost a leg in the last four after a first leg 4-1 win against Enyimba, got a one all draw at the Aba Township Stadium to qualify for their second back-to-back semi-final. Ibrahim Adel scored first for the away team in the 32nd minutes before Anayo Iwuala equalised for the People's Elephant of Aba in the 40th minutes. Coton Sport FC progressed to their third semis of the competition in history despite losing by two goals to one. The Cameroonian base team qualified on away goal rule after they had won by one goal to nil in the first leg in Garoua. It was the away team who scored first through Sibiri Sanou in the 21st minutes. However, Albert Diene restored parity for the home team in the 34th minutes before Pape Abdou Ndaye made it two in the early minutes of second half. Raja Casablanca whitewashed Orlando Pirates beating them by four goals to nil and winning 5-1 on aggregate after a one all draw in South Africa. Raja, who had not lost since the beginning of the tournament, put all the four goals pass their opponents in the first half. Ben Melango opened score with a header in the 6th minutes as Zakari El Wardi scored the second in the 22nd minutes of the game. The Tunisian were on a rampage as Sofiane Rahimi made it three by the 31st minutes while Melango completed his brace three minutes later. JS Kayblie of Algeria secured last four places after playing out a one all draw at home against CSfexien of Tunisia. They won away from home in the first leg by a goal to nil. The Lions scored first through first leg hero, Reda Bensayah in the 34th minutes from the spot. Fexien however equalled score at Aymen Harzi in the 83rd minutes. In the semi final fixtures, undefeated Raja Casablanca will slug it out with Pyramids while JS Kayblie will play against group stage opponents Conton Sport. The semi final matches come up in June. The first leg will take place on the 20th while the second leg will take place on the 27th.
