Coupe De La Ligue: Osimhen sends Lille to the last 4

Nigeria's Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen was the hero on Wednesday night as Lille picked the Semi final ticket of the coupe De La Ligue at the expense of Amiens, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Former Wolfburg attacker was on target in the last round when Lille defeated AS Monaco 3-0 and set up meeting with Amiens.

It was Luis Araujo who opened the scoring off an assist from Nigeria youngster at the Stade Pierre-Mauroy .

When Amiens was pressing for an equalizer , Osimhen sealed the win for Lille with a cool finish later in the game.

Osimhen has now netted two goals in the cup competition, while Lille is already into the last 4 of the competition.
