Covid-19: Women Underage World Cup Maybe Postponed

If the reports emanating from the FIFA headquarters in Zurich, Switzerland is to be considered, then, the two women underage world cup competitions that suppose to come up this year may be postponed.

Major football competitions and league have already suffered postponement in the past few weeks due to outbreak of Corona virus across the world, BSN Reports.

The world soccer governing rose up from its meeting on Friday and said that the U20 Women World Cup that will be co-hosted by Costa Rica and Panama and U17 women World Cup that will be hosted by India will be postponed.

The U20 is expected to happen in August while U17 is slated for November both in 2020.

The two Nigeria side Flamingos and Falconets are already getting to stage a return to the tournament after missing the last editions.
