Covid-19 Palliative: Ifeanyi Ubah Donates N300k To Journalists

Anambra State FA Chairman, Senator Dr. Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah this Wednesday has fulfilled his promise of providing palliative measures for sports journalists during the COVID-19 pandemic.

These palliative kits include a face masks, hand sanitizers and thermometer.

“The role of the media reportage during this pandemic cannot be over emphasized, they’ve worked diligently, thus they need to be rewarded,” the FCIU owner opined.

“They (Media) have been relentless in the fight against Covid-19 and needed to be encouraged for their efforts. It was then I thought of providing these hardworking personnel. These kits include a face masks, hand sanitizers and thermometers.

“It’s my own little way of showing gratitude to them. I remain a supporter of the great job done by the Media,” he added.

Speaking on behalf of the Media, NSM Chief Admin thanked the Senator for his hand of gesture.

He however encouraged more of well being Nigerians to join the growing number of personalities who has supported the media.

The face masks, hand sanitizer, and face shields was presented to NSM Chief Admin Mr Wale Ajayi.

“In times of crisis, we are grateful for the support from a Philanthropist like Senator Ifeanyi Ubah who enable us to keep helping the most vulnerable in our society,” said Mr Adewale Ajayi.

“We are truly appreciative of his support over the years and their commitment to give back to the Society in need.”
