COVID-19: Pascal Donates Hand Sanitizers, Face Masks, Hand Gloves To Journalists
By Editor
Bauchi state FA chairman, Patrick Pascal, has made a special donation of face masks, hand sanitizers and hand gloves to sports journalists on the Nigeria sports mouthpiece, NSM WhatsApp platform
This according to him, is his own little way of safeguarding gentleman and women of the media against the dangers posed by the Covid-19 pandemic.
Pascal who is also the camp coordinator of the Super Eagles is the brain behind the recent changes in Bauchi state football especially at the grassroot level and he has promised to give the state FA secretariate the needed facelift in the coming months.
His outstanding achievements has won him so many admirers among his people and he was very instrumental in convincing the governor of Bauchi state, governor Bala Mohammed to quickly change the playing surface of the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa stadium in Bauchi home ground of Wikki Tourists FC
Pascal's love for the media, especially sports journalists made him take this decision as he sees members of the fourth estate of the realm as partners in progress at all time.
"We must encourage our gentlemen and women of the media at all time. We must do all we can to make their job easy for them. Our media men and women go out of their ways to update us with current stories especially at a time like this that the Corona Virus Pandemic is seriously causing havoc around the world. In my own little way, i will like to support them with a token to buy hand sanitizers, hand gloves and face masks in order to stay safe during this difficult moment.
He also used the opportunity to wish the executive governor of Bauchi state who has also contracted the Corona virus, quick recovery while also appealing to Nigerians to sit at home, wash their hands, avoid gatherings and stay safe
