CSL : Ighalo missing as Shanghai Shenhua suffers home defeat

Shangai Shenhua on Friday suffered a 1-3 home defeat to visiting Shandong Lueng in their week 10 Chinese Super League, BSNSports.com.ng can report.
The league match which was decided at Hounkou Football Stadium saw Shanghai Shenhua felt the absence of Nigeria's Super Eagles striker Odion Ighalo who is still nursing the injury he sustained in the club last game.
Shanghai Shenhua played host to Shandong Lueng on Friday but it ended in a 1-3 defeat for the host, the game was handled by the popular English Premier League referee, Mark Clattenburg.
Goals from Graziano Pelle, Gil and former Manchester United midfielder Maroune Fellaini was enough to down the home side despite Andres Moreno scoring the consolation.
Shangai Shenhua team doctor hinted that the former Watford forward will soon resume action adding that the treatment by the club will help him bounce back in few week.
Ighalo is leading the scorers chat in the league with 8 goals.
Shangai Shenhua have been poor run of form this season, having manage to garner 8 points from 10 matches are placed 11th with just points above relegation zone. The winless results of Shangai Shenhua continue as they fail to win in their last 6 matches.
