Dala Hard Court Tennis Championship: Albert Bikom, Joseph Imeh Are 2021 Men's Doubles Champions By Niyi Busari In what seemed like a sweet revenge, Joseph Imeh and Albert Bikom defeated old warhorses, Abdulmumuni Babalola and Shehu Lawal in men's doubles to emerge the 2021 men's doubles champions. The elated winners recorded a 2-1 win (6-2, 4-6, 11-9) over last year's champions. Abdulmumuni Babalola and Shehu Lawal combined well last year to beat Joseph Imeh and Albert Bikom in the final. On the road to final in 2021, the duo had defeated John David and Attah Isaac 2-0 (6-3,6-2) in the second round before handing another 2-0 (6-4, 6-3) defeat to Abamu Mathew and Michael Chima in the semifinal before progressing to stage a memorable final with the last year's champions. This year's title becomes their second title after they won in 2019. Joseph Imeh combined brilliantly with Albert Bikom to win the 2019 Men's Doubles title. They defeat Sylvester Emmanuel/Clifford Enosoregbe 6-3, 3-6, 10-7 in the final. The duo smiles to the bank with One Million and Eight Hundred thousand naira (#1.8m) as prize money as 2021 champions.
