Dalung Calls For Sitting Volleyball Support

The Minister of Youth and Sports, Barr Solomon Dalung has thrown his weight behind the development of sitting volleyball in Nigeria, BSN Sports reports. He also commended the Nigeria Sitting Volleyball Federation for organising a Demonstration Match aimed at boosting the beauty of the sport as well as promoting the popularity of the game. Dalung stated this during the at the Sports complex, Package B of the National Stadium Abuja on Tuesday. The sports minister, who was represented by an Assistant Director in the ministry Mr Dans Adokiye, commended the federation for their giant step towards the development of the game in the country. “I sincerely commend this initiative of your federation in organizing this all important demonstrations match which will go a long way to further boost the beauty of the sport and also promote the popularity of the sports in all books and crannies of Nigeria” he said.
