Minister of Sports, Barrister Solomon Dalung has condemned the invasion of the Department of State Services to the Glass House of the Nigeria Football Federation in Abuja.
Dalung stated this on Thursday in Abuja where he disclosed that the principle of the rule of law is not being followed by certain individuals in Nigeria.
He however, lauded the decision of the DSS to vacate the Glass House premises on Wednesday before their return on Thursday.
Dalung said: “This administration is a government based on the rule of law and I will not allow any person who has no respect for Supreme Court judgement to turn my parastatal under my watch.
“The invasion of the NFF by the DSS was unacceptable and security stretched too far.”
The Department of States Service men occupy the NFF headquarter on Thursday, disturbed and manhandled the staffers of the NFF and ultimately 'chased out' the Amb. Chris Giwa led board from the office.
Giwa led board had on Friday approached the DSS office to meet with the security operative leadership.
The meeting which lasted for two hours is believed to lead to the withdrawal of the DSS from glasshouse.
