DALUNG TO REFEREE ON INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY By Admin The Minister of Youth and Sports Barrister Solomon Dalung will be the Centre referee when the All Stars Women’s team made up of Ex- Internationals take on Team NUT at an event to mark the 2019 International Women’s Day on Thursday March 7, 2019. The game tagged ‘Football Match For Better Balance’ kicks off at 2pm at the Training Pitch of the Abuja National Stadium. Organized by FAME Foundation run by Ms Ronke Bello, a journalist, the event will also feature Team NUJ Vs Team Expatriates made up of women from the American and British Embassies, as well as Team Fame comprising Nigerian celebrities, advocates and volunteers. Barrister Dalung will also be speaking on the Role of Women in the society and the need to Empower them. The Special Assistant to the President on Social Investments Mrs Maryam Uwais MFR will deliver a keynote address. There will be free eye tests, Hepatitis tests and HIV screening.
