Dalung to sponsor gymnasts ahead of Tokyo 2022

By Admin The Minister of Sports and Youth Development, Barrister Solomon Dalung has promised to support the training programmes of members of Tony International Gymnastics (TIG) team following their achievements at the 2018 African Levels System Gymnastics Champions in South Africa. The Tony Asuquo TIG team represented Nigeria at the club tournament, winning 10 golds 6 silver and 6 bronze medals respectively. Dalung, who hosted the young gymnasts in his office yesterday, thanked the team for their achievement, and urged them to remain disciplined and diligent as they aim to make names for themselves in gymnastics. “I thank all of you for making Nigeria proud, gymnastics is one sport that is not only interesting it a global and Olympic sports so if you have chosen to be gymnast I think you have taken a good decision. “All that you need to do first is you have to be discipline work very hard, you need to listen to your coaches also need to come to training regularly because if come to training today and did not come the next day you will not make good progress” he advised.
