His intention has promised was to takeover bid in 2020 but, with his Dangote Refinery under construction, he has to wait a bit.

Arsenal fans continues to get frustrated with the behavior of current owner Stan Kroenke and he rarely shows his face at the Emirates, despite struggles facing the team.

Arsenal fans with their current state would definitely welcome a New dawn, which certainly they could get when dangote takes over.

'It is a team that, yes, I would like to buy some day, but what I keep saying is we have $20billion worth of projects and that's what I really want to concentrate on,' Dangote told the David Rubenstein Show.

'I'm trying to finish building the company and then after we finish, maybe some time in 2021 we can.

'I'm not buying Arsenal right now, I'm buying Arsenal when I finish all these projects, because I'm trying to take the company to the next level.'

Arsenal are currently sitting in the 10th position in the Premier League courtesy of how they started the season under unai Emery, which led to him been sacked, but there have been improvement since the appointment of Mikel Arteta.

Arsenal fans will wish for a double change, hopefully Dangote keeps to the promise he made in 2018, saying: 'Even if somebody buys, we will still go after it.'
