Dapo Abiodun '21: MFM, Kwara, Sunshine Record Wins; Shooting, Gateway Shares Spoil

The big boys are still flexing their muscles with no upsets recorded yet as the Dapo Abiodun Cup enters its second day, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
In the first match played on Wednesday, 3SC and Gateway United played a 1-1 draw. The Oluyole Warriors took the lead as early as the 2nd minute through Ayo Adeboju but Emmanuel Orji levelled proceedings for Gateway 4 minutes before the break. Both sides fired blank in the 2nd half to leave the final scores at 1-1.
In the second game, Kwara United through Kabiru Balogun pip Ijebu United by a lone goal.
Sunshine Stars made a ground opening for themselves as they beat Remo Stars led by their former coach by a lone goal. Hadi Mohammed the goal scorer for the Akure Gunners
MFM FC condemned Ottasolo to their second defeat of the tournament. The Olukoya Boys who were held to a goalless draw my Niger Tornadoes in the first game defeat Ottasolo 2-0, with Obasi Dennis and Ndubuisi Pascal scoring for the Olukoya Boys.
At end of match day 2, Shooting Stars leads Group A with 4 points, closely followed by Ijebu United and Kwara on 3 points each.
In the Group B, MFM FC leads the park with 4 points, while Remo Stars and Sunshine Stars closely follows with 3 points each.
Tournament continues on Thursday with Sunshine Stars trade tackling Niger Tornadoes in the first fixture, while MFM FC and Remo Stars go head-to-head in the 2nd match of the day.
