Dare Charges NFF Over Payment Of National Team Coaches' Salaries

Minister of Youth and Sports Development, Sunday Dare has instructed the Nigeria Football Federation, NFF, to show him evidence which will exhibit that they will not owe salaries and allowances of national team coaches next one year, BSNSports.com.ng understands.

Dare says he will not tolerate the federation owing national team coaches' salaries under his administration.

"I as the minister of Youth and Sports met with the NFF president and other members of the board, and i have told them, under this new regime, it is important not just the Super Eagles coach even as we plan to bring in the new coach for the Super Falcons and the U23 national team."

He stated that the NFF is committed to not owing any coach for the next one year.

"I told them, you must show evidence that their salaries and allowances for at least a year at the minimum is set and ready. I have told them that and they have committed to making sure that they will not owe any national team coach." He concluded.
