As the officials of the Department of State Service (DSS) continue to give backing to the Amaju Pinnick led group in the ongoing leadership crisis in the Nigeria Football Federation, NFF. Minister of Youth and Sports Development, Barrister Solomon Dalung has called on President Muhammadu Buhari to deal with those in power and abuses it.
Former Director General of the DSS, Lawal Daura was sacked and arrested on the order of the Acting President, Yemi Osinbajo following a siege by men of the security outfit at the national assembly on Tuesday which prevented members from going into chambers.
Speaking with www.bsnsports.com.ng after the meeting with the operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Corruption (EFCC) and The Independent Corrupt Practises Commission (ICPC).
Dalung, who described the action of the DSS at the NFF as impunity overstretched said, it is such impunity that prevent the anti graft agency from dealing with the corrupt persons in the country.
"The impunity prevents the anti graft agency from going after the corrupt people in the country. It also creates an enabling environment for corruption to thrive.
"
And that is why i am calling on president of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari to mobilise his armour tank to wield out those in that abuse power while in office to provide sanctuary for corruption and until that is done the efforts of the honest people in government will be thwarted."
