Derby County release Efe Ambrose

English Championship side Derby County has released Nigeria's Super Eagles defender Efe Ambrose.

Ambrose joined the "Rams" during winter transfer window after he decided not to extend his stay with Scotland premier league side Hibernian.

Ambrose failed to make a match day squad for the club throughout his stay with the club.

He was released alongside former Chelsea defender Ashley Cole, David Nugent, Alex Pearce and Marcus Olsson.
