Barely one day to the international friendly match against Desert Foxes of Algeria, the newly invited Nigeria's Super Eagles striker Cyril Dessers is already eager for his first cap, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
Born to a Belgian father, RKC Genk of Belgium attacker choose to represent Nigeria and was invited for 2021 African Cup Of Nations qualifier against Sierra Leone before corona virus disrupted football activities across the World.
Former Armelo Heracles forward was among the 24 Players already in camp for the double header friendlies.
He expressed his eagerness through NFF social media handle on Wednesday morning after the training sessions.
”I’m really happy to be here, my first call-up to the Super Eagles, it’s a dream come true. I can’t wait to be on the pitch and play the games and also to meet the fans," he said.
After scoring 15 goals last season for Heracles, Dessers moved to Genk this summer where he has become one of the key player for club.
