After making his much awaited debut for Nigeria's Super Eagles in an international friendly match against friendly against Carthage Eagles of Tunisia, RKC Genk of Belgium striker Cyril Dessers is still in cloud nine, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
Former Heracles forward was first invited for the double header 2021 African Cup Of Nations qualifier against Sierra Leone but was unable to make his debut due to outbreak of Corona virus.
He substituted in for team skipper Ahmed Musa on Tuesday as Nigeria and Tunisia settled for a 1-1 draw.
Dessers reacted to his debut via its official social media handle on Wednesday afternoon indicating how honoured he felt representing Nigeria.
" Proud and honoured to represent a big football nation like Nigeria.
Proud to be a Super Eagle", he wrote.
Dessers is expected to be back in action for his Belgium club RKC Genk this weekend.
