Diamond League: Amusan finishes third in Birmingham

Nigeria's track star Tobi Amusan on Sunday finished 3rd in the 2019 Diamond League, that took place in Birmingham.

Amusan earlier recorded 12.71s to come second in the Heat 2 of the 100 meters women Hurdle race.

She came 3rd in the final with a 12.71s finish behind William Danielle of Jamaica and USA Harrison Kendra.

Next on the agenda for Amusan is the ongoing 12th All African Games in Rabat Morocco and she is expected to link up with the other Nigeria athletes for the event.

She will still have the opportunity to contest for the finals of the 2019 Diamond League in Brussels and Zurich in September
