Divine Nwachukwu brace helped the U-15 national team to get their maximum three points as he scored the first and the last goal while Chidera Ejiofor scored the second goal to make the scoreline 3-2 against Morocco, Basic Sports in Nigeria (BSN Sports) reports.
The Moroccan were leading with two goals in the early minutes of the game until Divine Nwachukwu scored the first goal for the Nigerian side.
Bigger and stronger in size than the Nigerians, Morocco lost it in the latter part of the match when their stamina failed them. The Futures Eagles dominated the second half to win by 3-2.
The Futures Eagles will play Djibouti on Saturday in the second match of the group A.
Meanwhile, their last group game is slated for Monday 23rd July against Libya at the P. C Bab Ezzouar stadium.
