Division 1 Volleyball: Kada Kings and Sunshine maintains winning streak

The national division one volleyball league currently going on at the Indoor sports complex of the university of Ilorin enters day two with lots of dramas unfolding on Monday. 

Kada Kings kept their promotion hopes alive after recording their second win with a three straight set triump against Katsina.

Offa volleyball club of Kwara recovered from their loss against Nigeria Army to claim their second win from three games. The Ilorin side won in three straight set against Imo (25-15, 25-16, 25-11), who are yet to pick up a win.

For Sunshine of Ondo, it's three wins from three. The ondo side who had earlier beaten Niger brass 3-1 ( 25-22, 25-17, 24-26, 25-15) earlier in the day completely outclass team Katsina in three straight set later in the day.

However, the game of the day happened between two Uniform side. The Nigeria Army and Prison service.

Both teams who had two wins each lock horns in the battle of supremacy.

Nigeria Army picked up the opening two sets (25-16, 25-22) but Prisons were able to kept army behind bars in the third set (18-25).

The fourth set was full of  turns and twist but it was the army who eventually use all in their Arsenal's to claim their third win of the championship by 25-22.

In other result, team Delta lost to Niger brass 1-3.
