DOHA 2019: Brume qualifies for Long Jump final, as Amusan through to Women 100 meter Hurdle Semi Final

Hope of Team Nigeria to clinch at least a medal at the ongoing 2019 Athletics championship in Doha rises on Saturday afternoon as the duo of Ese Brume and Tobi Amusan performed excellently well in their events.
Team Nigeria has been finding it extremely tough to move to a medal at the biennial championship with 4×100 meters relay race for men and women being the latest event where Nigerian athletes crashed out.
It was Amusan who claimed first position in her Hurdles Heat with a personal best of 12.48 to qualify for the semi final.
Later Brume followed suit in the Long Jump as she made a mark of 6.89m in her first jump , while the qualification Mark is set for 6.75m.
The semi final of Women 100 Hurdles is slated for Sunday while the Long Jump final will also come up same day.
