Doha 2019: Minister of Sports Congratulates Ese Brume, Amusan

The minister of youth and sports development, Mr Sunday Dare has congratulated Ese Brume who won bronze medal in Long Jump for Nigeria and Tobi Amusan for her excellent performance in the just concluded World Athletics Championship in Doha, BSNSports.com.ng can report.

Ese Brume who recorded a 6.91m in the Long Jump event to claim bronze (the only medal for the nation) on Sunday. The feat means, she is the first Nigerian to win medal at the World Athletics Championship since 2013.

Tobi Amusan whom due to her efforts at the championship referred to as the Champions by the minister shows that Nigeria still have hope to win medals in track and field event at world stage.
