Minister of Sports Goes Spiritual As Ese Brume Qualify For Final

Nigerian athlete Ese Brume has raised hope for the West African nation to win her first gold medal at the ongoing 2019 World Athletics Championship in Doha.

Brume in her first jump in the Long Jump event at the tournament recorded a 6.89m which put her in the final of the event and stand a good chance to pick the gold medal.

Having qualified for the final and happy with the achievement, the minister of sports, Mr Sunday Dare took to his official Twitter handle to announce her qualification for the final and asked Nigerians to pray for her as she is on her way to win gold medal.

Ese is three-time African senior champion in the long Jump and holds a personal best of 7.05 m

Ese Brume, the African junior record holder in the event and also a five-time African junior champion in athletics.
