By Sampson Adedeji

Following their refusal to participate in the 100 meters men and women, the duo of Nigeria's Blessing Okagbare and Divine Oduduru has been thrown out of the ongoing 2019 Athletics championship in Doha, BSNSports.com.ng can report.

BSN reports that the duo had earlier on Friday pulled out of 100 meters heat after registering for the event because they want to focus on the 200 meters and relay races,

Both athletes forgot to take into consideration the part of the IAAF rules that states " An athletes shall be excluded from participation in all further events (including other events in which he/she is simultaneously participating) in the competition including relay races, in case where

A final confirmation was given " the an athlete would start in an event then failed to participate .

Their absence in the relay races will surely affect the performance of Team Nigeria in the event as both are expected to play active role in men and women event.
