DOHA 2019: Okagbare pulls out of 100 meters, focuses on 200 and 4x100 meters

The hope of Nigeria to pick a medal in the women 100 meters at the ongoing 2019 Athletics championship in Doha has been dashed as one of the medal hopeful Blessing Okagbare pulls out of the race, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Okagbare announced her pulling shortly after the commencement of the championship on Friday.

And according to her, she did that in order to concentrate on 200, 400 and 4x100 meters races.

Okagbare remained one of the country's brightest star going into the events after she proved herself in various Diamond League races prior to the games.

Doha 2019 which commenced on Friday, 27th September will come to an end on October 5.
