Don't Fight Against FG Directive.... Patrick Ekeji Advises Pinnick

By Admin Former Director General of National Sports Commission, Dr. Patrick Ekeji has given an humble advice to Amaju Pinnick to peacefully quit the office of the NFF as president now that the ovation is loud. He stated further that he (Pinnick) should not come back to the country to fight the order of the government. "My dear Pinnick, for us (Nigerians), the World Cup 2018 is over so it is now a period to take stock of your leadership out of NFF and go. As everyone knows, I have been and still is a major stakeholder in sports generally and in particular football. "The World Cup finals is the numero uno competition that any Football Federaion/Association all the world over aspires to take part in and, of course, possibly win. The truth however is, only one Football Federation wins the diadem. As I said in an earlier interview, you and your Board earn my kudos for the journey so far." He advised Amaju Pinnick to take a bow and quit NFF office for occupant. "Moving forward, my advise to you and your Board is, take a bow and leave the stage for there is till some ovation even if subdued. It is obvious that any desire and attempt to run again would be an anti-climax and you are not likely to win strong enough sympathies. You are still young and likeable and really there is nothing more to experience in that position. I am sure you would not want to be seen as the man responsible for our post-world-cup football management distraction." "I am sure you know what I am talking about.
