DR Congo Appoints Claude Makalele As Ambassador

The Congolese Football Association have appointed former French player Claude Makelele as an Ambassador, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
Makelele was appointed alongside former Congolese international player Roger Hitoto.
"The new ambassadors are responsible for contacting, following up and convincing binationals on the world stage." A statement says.
FECOFA is convinced that these two appointed ambassadors will put their sporting experience to the benefit of the Congolese nation.
The DRC currently has three ambassadors of Congolese football. The first to be named was Aziz Makukula.
Makelele who is from Kinshasa is currently a technical advisor to young Chelsea players.
