FIBA World Cup: D'Tigers arrive Wuhan

Ahead of the start of 2019 FIBA men's World Cup, Nigeria's D'Tigers have arrived in the City of Wuhan.

After emerging the champions of the PEAK invitational tournament at the capital city of China, D'Tigers overcome more illustrious Basketball nations like Poland and Montenegro before picking the title.

The team coach Alex Nwora on Tuesday listed 12 players that will represent the country at the world cup.

The listed players and their technical crew immediately boarded flight to Wuhan where group B matches will be played.

They touched down in the city in afternoon and was moved straight to their base.

Nigeria will open its campaign against Russia in the first group match on Saturday before facing Argentina and South Korea.
