D'Tigress Pick Ticket To Play At Women World Cup Qualifying Tournament Sampson Adedeji Newly crowned African champions, D'Tigress have qualified to take part in the 2022 Women's World Cup qualifying tournament slated for February, BSNsports.com.ng can report The Nigeria senior women basketball team on Sunday emerged winner of the women Afrobasket championship in Yaounde, Cameroon beating Mali in the final. The victory in Yaounde qualified D'Tigress alongside Mali for the world championship. The five-time African champions will compete alongside Canada, Australia, the USA, Brazil, and Puerto Rico. The tournament will also have Serbia, France, Belgium, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Russia in attendance alongside top four teams from the FIBA Women's Asia Cup.
