Dutch Eredivisie: Okoye Returns To Action For Sparta Sampson Adedeji Dutch club Sparta Rotterdam and Super Eagles of Nigeria goalkeeper, Maduka Okoye returned to action on Saturday, BSNsports.com.ng can report. Okoye has been out of action since the 28th of November when he sustained a shoulder injury against Ajax Amsterdam. Benjamin Van Leer has been in goal as replacement but Sparta have conceded in every game since his absence. Sparta hosted Vitesse Arnhem on Saturday and the game ended 2-2 with Nigeria international providing another vital save in the match. It was the visitors that went 0-2 up after the first half but Sparta seized control of the game and were able to bounce back and levelled up in the end. Okoye resumption will be good news for the Super Eagles coaches as they are preparing to release their provisional list for the 2021 African Cup of Nations which begins on January 9.
